Many years ago when I was a young lad and only passed my driving test a short time, I was driving my first car ( an Austin 1100) along the Romford Road behind a White Escord van. Eventually the van reached the Bow flyover with me still behind in my pride and joy. When the van went up the flyover his back doors flew open and all his shopping fell out, beans, bread, milk and a frozen chicken, which bounced a couple of times before hitting my front grill causing a nice big dent. Not funny at the time, but I will always think of it and laugh everytime I drive over the Bow flyover. P.S. no chickens were harmed in any way in the writing of this blog. Ha ha ha ha
